If you know me at all, you know that I love love love nut butters. Eat it out of the jar kind of love. Being used to a plethora of choices in NYC of all types of nut butters, I faced quite a shock in Crete where I was lucky to find organic-no-crap-added peanut butter. And that was basically it. That being said, tahini is a star here.

I became obsessed with matcha instantly. I loved the energy, the taste, and I didn't even want coffee anymore. Plus all the health properties made this drink even more special.

Bulletproof Coffee My Way

There are many theories and studies about coffee, and since I love the stuff, I believe in the health benefits of it (in rational amounts, of course). You all have probably heard of the new-ish "Bulletproof coffee" trend at this point. It's basically coffee with butter and MCT oil. It's meant to give you energy and healthy fats, and be a great way to start the day, no breakfast needed. My approach is somewhat altered, but the idea is the same. Coffee which provides energy, healthy fats, and gives you energy for the day ahead.
